Cooling Towers

We are  a custom cooling tower solutions provider specializing in the design and construction of field-erected fiberglass (FRP) and concrete cooling towers for both crossflow or counterflow applications. The custom-engineered components and a flexible, open-frame design to enable faster and safer project execution and lower costs over the life of the tower. We have more FRP cooling tower experience than anyone in this region, of which many FM Approved cooling towers are installed for industrial clients

Custom Field Errected FRP Cooling Towers

With  its outstanding properties, FRP Cooling towers have gained acceptance as a smart alternative to wood, concrete or aluminum. FRP cooling towers can be disassembled and moved to another site if ever required. Many possible upgrades are possible due to the flexible design of the cooling tower structure.

Fiberglass is stronger and more flexible than concrete, and is more resistant to
earthquakes.FRP cooling towers are considered best for harsh and corrosive environments such as oil refineries and petrochemical facilities, offering these features:

• High strength
• Weather resistance
• Long-term performance and durability
• Lightweight
• Dimensional stability
• Noise and vibration absorption

FM 4930 Approved Cooling Towers

Organizations practice loss prevention by considering an FM APPROVED cooling tower to potentially reduce structural damage and interruption of business.FM Approvals is a nationally recognized testing laboratory and international leader specializing in the testing and certification of property loss prevention products and services.

FM approved cooling towers meet FM Approvals’ rigorous loss prevention standards of quality, technical integrity and performance.

Benefits of FM 4930 Approvals

  • The FM APPROVED mark on a product implies a high level of reliability
  • FM Approvals certification ensures that in the event of a fire, the cooling tower system will continue to function at a reduced design capacity, allowing critical business operations to continue while recovery is underway
  •  By choosing an FM APPROVED cooling tower, owners can avoid the costs and maintenance associated with external sprinkler systems, while reducing costly interruption of business in the case of a fire.

Concrete Cooling Towers

The concrete cooling tower structure is made of reinforced concrete and is suitable to resist aggressive waters. The precast concrete design has been implemented to meet stringent project deadlines.

The most obvious advantage of concrete towers is their structural permanence and architectural flexibility. They are unaffected by most chemicals, heat and ultra-violet exposure. Concrete is also inert to the water environment present, and helps to minimize radiated sound levels. The exterior can be styled and finished to match most building architectures.

Concrete designs can also be specialized to provide other functions, such as venting of parking garage fumes, or fogging and plume control. Drift eliminators can allow the tower to be placed near pedestrian or vehicular traffic.
